a permanent state of nervousness, often both initiated and sustained by the knowledge of unfinished tasks that will resurface some day.
friend: why are you twitching? you seem so nervous?
me: i was supposed to file an application for my boss before summer and forgot it. now i will be permanervous the entire holidays.
