Pulling a Foley


an action that occurs only in mmo and fps video games, pulling a foley is defined as becoming upset enough to yell and curse over a voip program, claim or actually break a part of your equipment, then miraculously begin playing roughly 5 minutes later. most commonly happens in world of warcraft and counter strike. originally derived from an individual player going by madeen whose actual last name was aparently foley, it has been spreading thoroughout the gaming community.
“that guy is totally pulling a foley. i guess he had a spare mouse or something, cause i’m pretty sure you need to use one to try and fight in this game.”
