Recycled Creativity
completely different from taking other people’s ideas…
recycled creativity is when you are inspired by other pieces of art (music, painting, drawing, hairstyles, etc) and you take aspects of that art to create an artwork of your own.
as originality is becoming scarce in the new generations, this is the way most art is made. but it isn’t bad at all! inspiration is never bad, and recycled creativity is the way people create original ideas from various ideas of other ideas.

aaron: sure. -listens to it- this sounds cool! what were you inspired by?
james: bach’s “toccata and fugue in d minor,” the electro-rock from sonic colors, the jazzy sounds of miles davis’s trumpet, and that one little excerpt from run-dmc and aerosmith’s “walk this way”
aaron: wow, sounds like some major recycled creativity.
