Retrobass
retrob-ss (aka rb) is an independent british-asian electronic musician, technologist and multimedia artist originally from london (uk). he is known for single-handedly developing his own form of ‘positive-alternative’ hiphop & electronica; a unique blend of electro, industrial, rock, dub & downtempo fused with positive vibes, catchy melodies, lush ambient textures, phat synths, raw urban beats & elements influenced by his east-indian heritage. rb made his debut online in late-2005 with his ‘socially-conscious’ tracks “no fear!” & “heroin veins feat. russ.j”. this was later followed-up by the innovative alternative-hiphop/dnb track, “shanti om”, which received worldwide attention after being pre-released on mysp-ce for world peace day (21 september, 2006).
