when a person punches you so hard that the bruise is a blue-deep indigo colour. it should also last for more than one week to qualify as a russian blueberry. if it lasts for more than 2 weeks, it is known as a “ripe one”. if it becomes infected it is known as a “bad pick”. the victim of the russian blueberry is known as a “tsar”. having a russian blueberry is stigmatized in several cliches while others may see of it as a sign of bad-ss-ery.
