this term comes from the eastern caribbean island of st. vincent and the grenadines. a scravenous individual can be from any socioeconomic background. being scravenous supercedes so called race, cl-ss or any other cl-ssification of people groups. it basically describes a person who is out for of his or own selfish ambitions, willing to do all that he or she can to reach their desired goal or outcome.
that person who stole his mother’s money from her house is d-mned scravenous!
