when the spoken and unspoken social norms governing subcultural groups are so rigid that members are or may as well be a religious or political cult.
man, while i appreciate the no animal testing labeling and good eats, when i hang out with my veg/vegan friends i sometimes feel like i’m a member of a sub-cult and can’t take it! too much like being w/ mormons again.
