The Sweatbox
“the sweatbox” is the name for the afterparty/ “gym jam” held after football games at norfolk state university, norfolk, va. it is so called because the party is so crunk, and packed with bodies that everybody leaves literally drenched in sweat.
person 1: “you going to the game tonite, shaw?”
person 2: “nah, probably not. i’m gone hit the sweatbox afterwards, though.”
person 1: “f-ck dat, n-gg-s always fightin after the sweatbox, i ain’t messin wit it.”
person 2: “yeah, but i’m stuck on campus and there ain’t sh-t else to do.”
