Toolage
(noun): the act of being a tool, or, in other words, ignorantly acting on the behalf of, or behaving a certain way in order to please others at the expense of one’s own self-benefit, morals, and/or integrity. this includes acting, talking, and dressing in a certain manner to impress others and/or pretending to be something one isn’t.
tool: dude, i did everything the cool kids told me to do to be popular, but they still ignore me. what do i do?
chill friend: just keep the toolage to a minimum, and all will be well.
