Truthwang
an attempt to insinuate an incorrect statement, usually a piece of trivia, into popular belief by placing it on a wiki, blog etc. derived from a successful truthw-ng on wikipedia saying the village of wetw-ng was the inspiration for the mitch-ll and webb numberw-ng sketches.
of course it’s not true, it’s just a truthw-ng someone started on wikipedia.
