unrequited love

its the feeling of being completely, hopelessly, desperately in love with someone, all the while knowing that your feelings will never reach them.

its contradictory in that you feel incredible because you love someone so much, but also at the same time you feel almost overwhelming despair because you will never know what it is like to hold them in your arms, or touch their face, or kiss their lips. you will never know what it is like to wake-up next to them in bed in the morning, bodies entwined.

it can be m-s-ch-stic in nature- it causes such heartache, but you enjoy loving the person so much, you willingly let your heart go through the agony, so you can hold onto something- i don’t know, maybe hope?

in any case, unrequited love is a very sad thing.

quite possibley the worst feeling in the world. when you love someone but they don’t love you back. it kinda makes you feel like a creepy loser. and you tell yourself that you dont care, you were over with before you began, that this is pointless, but you cant help but think about them. and you know what? theyre probably a total d-ckface you screwed you over, but you dont even care. one day in the far-off future you’ll wonder why you gave a f-ck about such a loser, but for now youre just going to have to hope that either they start to have feelings for you back or just hope and pray that you get over them, neither of which are prolly going to happen.
i’m in unrequited love with sean, even though we’ll never work out cuz we can’t get our godd-mn timing right. first, we liked eachother but i was going out with his best friend. then we didnt see eachother for a month. then we had a huge fight. then we made up and things were back to normal until he asked out another girl the next day. and now i’m really paranoid he’ll read this and think im a stalker or something.
loving someone who will never love you back. if you’re like me, the term will apply to someone who probably used to love you but you either didnt take the chance to fall for them, scared of being hurt, or, quite simply, blew it. and now spend your time wishing after them, wishing one day they’ll love you again.
however, when one day you realise the one you love, loves you back, it gives you the most amazing, elated feeling you never thought was possible.

one of the worst feelings in the world, when you love someone and they don’t love you back. this could be because they only see you as a friend, or they just don’t see you at all. you could like them so much and think about them all the time but they will still carry on going out with some wh-r- and isn’t good enough for him. it really sucks. maybe one day you’ll get over it, but for now, you feel like your heart’s being shattered into a million pieces and you are incapable of making an effort in moving.

when you fall in love with a person, but they don’t fall in love with you. being in love feels amazing – but when they only see you as a friend, it hurts you so much. you could get them out of your life and try to get over them, but you care about them so much that you’d rather be secretly in love with them knowing that they don’t feel that way about you.
