1)an expression which is often exclaimed by a party in disbelief, during times of amazement, bewilderment, and/or bedazzlement.
2)bashta is the bulgarian translation for the english word, “father.” thus, roughly translating the term into, “what, the father!”
3)a synonym for “oh my gosh.”
“..so i’m really excited about tomorrow! i’ve been planning this for so long, and the tickets for just the two of us cost me a small fortune.”
“oh, tomorrow? yeah, i decided i’m not going with you anymore..”
