alpha chick
a female that typically falls into the leadership roll among other females. much like a pecking order for social cliques, when two “alpha chicks” come into social contact, there is some aggressive posturing until one “alpha chick” reins leader. the loser “alpha chick” will then be ostracized from the social clique.
johnna and laura were both alpha chicks, but then they attempted to become friends, johnna’s will proved to be stronger and laura was ostracized from the group.
