fi-sci


adj. fictional-science, when scientists fabricate data to fit their political objectives in hopes of having their fiction published as fact in academic journals, as well as attaining prestige, grant money, and in the case of al gore, an academy award, a n-bel peace prize, and rising coal futures.
pat: sooo… how about all this talk of man-made global warming, eh?
sam: i know, it’s a marvelous work of fi-sci. i hear they went the extra mile and dumped the original data they modified and used to push their farce.
pat: yeah, nothing says “scientific method” or “peer review” better than having no choice but to trust a scientist just by their word.
