hypothetical relationship
an imaginary relationship between two people, usually created to appease the other member, and their need for social verification of the “relationship”.
i laugh at tom every time he says we are “exclusive”, just because we are in a hypothetical relationship.
a relationship that occurs in one’s mind, but not actually in reality. can potentially evolve into a slight obsession.
ex.) i just realized that my hypothetical relationship is completely a completely unrealistic situation
