Shot Break
the act of taking a break from the work day to have a drink at a nearby bar. replaces the smoke break.
this is a new form of break in the workforce. it is meant to be a 15 minute break in which workers go to the nearest bar and have a drink of their choice. it originated when a faction of non-smokers grew jealous of smoker who get to go outside for a 15 minute smoke break. this faction would go across the street to a bar with the intention of doing a shot. eventually, the shot became just the drink of choice.
the 1 beer 15 minutes theory is often tested.
i am feeling a little burned out today. want to go to bob’s place for a shot break?
