U got no jams
derives from a korean phrase: “jaemi eobseo” which means no fun or not interesting.
the “jaemi” itself means fun, and “eobseo” can be translated to (there is) no/not.
so basically what you do with it is add “no” in front of the phrase, scratch of the “eobseo” and simplify the pr-nounciation for “jaemi” into jams

an insult.
claiming that someone “got no jams” is basically saying that said person is no fun or anything else along those lines.
it’s actual origin is unknown, however it quickly became popular when the rapper and leader of the korean hip-hop boygroup bangtan boys (bts), rap monster (rapmon/kim namjoo), turned to one of his members (jimin) during a flight to l.a and said that he “got no jams”
(jimin being dumb and a camera wh-r-)
